Class 2 Motor may be used exclusively to propel the bicycle. Max assist 20 mph. Allowed on class 1, 2, 3 & 4 lanes, paths and routes (subject to local laws)
Class 3 Assistance only when the rider is pedaling. Max assist 28 mph. Allowed on class 2 & 3 bicycle lanes and routes (subject to local laws)
